| Hi All,here i had a problem to restore the database from backp filefirst i had taken the backp of my reqired databaseafter that i want to restore the backp database into newly created databaseit is not allowing showing msg as database is in useif i delete the database frm which i had taken the backp it is allowingBut i don't want to delete the databaseALL THE PROCESS IS DONE IN SQL SERVER 2005Malathi Rao |

| You have to make sure there aer no users in the database to do a restore.Make sure you are not connected to the datbase when you do the restore.You can see the users in the database via management studio or master..sysprocesses and kill them if necessary.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
