| Salute..Does RAISERROR return from a stored procedure ?..I mean depending on the severity level or so?..or should I explicitly RETURN???Salute..------------------If I am to do it,I will, and NOW .. |

| Actually RAISERROR will never return from a stored procedure. If severity of the error you are trying to raise is less than 20, the processing will continue (unless you follow RAISERROR statement with an explicit RETURN). If severity is 20 or higher (and you'd have to use WITH LOG option in such case) SQL Server will terminate connection. |
