cant install sql serverr on my laptop

i unistalled sql server and try to install it but its giving an error.
anyone knowhow to fix it?

i restarted the laptop already too'

also im able to install analysis services.

what edition of sql server are you trying to install?

the error is a window called installshield engine.

It says please tell microsoft about this problem.

its sql server 2000.

it was working before. then i unistall it and try to install it back. but its giving me thats error msg.

maybe the problem is in the installation package. The installation is it from CD ?

no, from my hd.
i installed it before from my hd. I think there is something wrong with windows.
myabe ill reinstall windows.
