| is there any kind of problem if i continue to use "sql server 2000 enterprise evaluation edition"..the evaluation period is for 120 days and my project will complete by that period..shall i continue using that or there are any problems.... |

| If the evaluation period is for 120 days then you will be in breach of the license if you continue to use it after that period.So after the evaluation you either decide that the evaluation was worthwhile, and you buy the product, or you decide that it was not - and you don't buy it, and you stop using it.The Developers Edition is very cheap, and provides all the functionality of the Enterprise Edition - the only stipulation is that you can only use it to develop your application."my project will complete ..."Well ... if you are developing software I reckon that the Developer Version is what you actually need - which is what MVJ said in your other thread http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=78535Kristen |
