How can i add character 0 to the database??

i have a string of characters and one of them is 0 (its a license file)

i would like to save it to the database. but i get unclosed character string.

Hope its clear.

its a new database so you can also tellme wich datatype i need.

0 as in number 0?
varchar or int datatype can be used for this.

maybe you should explain in more detail what your exact requirement is.

If you want to save the character ASCII(0), the only option you have is to store the data as (VAR)BINARY.
