Val writes "I am having a problem with the following command

set @Command = 'master..xp_cmdshell ''C:\"Program Files"\MyApp\CreateFolders.exe /systemID ' + @System_ID + ' /projectID ' + @Project_ID + ' /projectName ' + @Project_Name + ' /test ' + @Test_Name + ''''

I get the following error:

'C:\"Program Files"\MyApp\CreateFolders.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

The executable is surely at that location.

I am using SQL Server 2000 Version 8.0 on Windows 2003, Version 5.2.3790 Service Pack 1 Build 3790.

Any help you can give me would surely be appreciated.

Change it to this (you must have the double quotes around the whole command string, not just the Program Files part).

set @Command = 'master..xp_cmdshell ''"C:\Program Files\MyApp\CreateFolders.exe" /systemID ' + @System_ID + ' /projectID ' + @Project_ID + ' /projectName ' + @Project_Name + ' /test ' + @Test_Name + ''''
