get min dates of various records

Hi I need to obtain the first invoice_date of all supplier.

Table:

Supplier_No, Invoice_Date
1234 13-10-91
1235 11-05-90
1234 10-09-90

required results:
1234 10-09-90
1235 11-05-90

I know you can use the min function, but it will only return the min from any supplier.

Any ideas how i can get my required results?
