| I am trying to connect to SQL2000 server by using with out DSN. But it showing an error.Error Type:Microsoft OLE DB Service Components (0x80040E73)Format of the initialization string does not conform to the OLE DB specification. What does it mean?This is the string I wrote to connect ot sql2000:Dim conSet con = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")con="DRIVER={SQL Server} SERVER=servernameUID= PWD= DATABASE= con.open con"Here what is mean by UserId (UID) and PWD?Please help meShaji |

| UID Means when was you install SQLSERVER2000 into your System,That time asked UID & PWD.. UID default value is sa in SQLSERVER2000. |
