SQLSERVERAGENT Service won't start.MSSQLSERVER Service starts fine.Both Services using 'Local System' account.Server is Windows Server 2003 SP1SQL 2000 Server SP3aAny Ideas?Thanks |

look for errors in the nt event log and/or SQLAGENT.OUT a common reason for this is that the agent service is not able to connect to the sql instance because of perms issues. www.elsasoft.org |

Did you remove builtin\administrators from sysadmin? If so, did you add 'nt authority\system' in sysadmin? |
