My manager is about to buy two new processes for our existing SQL Server which has two already. If and when he puts them in.....Do i have to tell SQL to use them all in a setting, is it a matter of just going into the properties of SQL and i will see all the four of them. Will SQL know that they are there and use.Thanks.... |

If you changed the setting from the default, then yes you would need to change things. Check out sp_configure or right click on the server in EM, click properties, check out Processors.Tara KizerMicrosoft MVP for Windows Server System - SQL Serverhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
