| I'm not very familiar with sql server 2005, and am trying to create some reports for the first time. I created 4 fairly basic reports. Three of them work just fine. The fourth one is giving me fits. When I look at it in Visual Studio, it previews just fine - generates the correct data and everything. When I deploy it to report services, however, it gets squashed sideways, so that it is about three times too narrow. I've looked at both the body properties and the report properties, and they all appear ok when compared to the other three reports. The body width is set to 8.9 inches, and the report page size and interactive size properties are set to 8.6 inches.Can anyone point me in the right direction, or am I going to have to start from scratch?Thanks in advance... |

| Usually I have the opposite problem - the table spreads across 3 pages, for instance. Unfortunately I can't think of any single property that may cause this. Checking the report / body page size and interactive size is usually where I start on size problems but looks like you've already done so. Are you rendering in firefox or IE? I don't think Microsoft really coded SSRS to play nice with firefox and getting scrunched tables seems very common.What component are you using? Matrix? Table? Chart? What are the columns cangrow/canshrink properties? If you enclose your report in a rectangle and render, does the rectangle get scrunched too or just the stuff inside??---------------------------------------------------------SSRS Kills Kittens. |
