 copying columns from one table to another

Hi,

I need to add columns to Table1, names and datatypes should match columns in Table2 (not all columns will be copied). How do i accomplish this? Is there a way to execute ALTER TABLE with Select query?

No, there is no way. U should use ALTER TABLE statements.
