| hello, I'm using mssql with php5.I have a table with a field named "item" declared as varchar(2000)when I check in the enterprise manager for the field (I have only one row in the table) I'm getting a string with 1000 chars and its fine. thats how it should be. but when I'm trying to accesses this field with an sql query from external resource (php, asp, python) I get only the first 400 chars !! somehow it cuts the end of the string...(there is no mistake in the sql query, as I said I have only 1 row.)I really don't know what can I do. and I'm stuck :thanks. |
