If you are using Access 2000 then there is a database upsizing utility. I am not sure about Access 97.

Yes, it's called the Upsize to SQL Server wizard, it is built into Access 2000 and higher, it's on the Tools:Database Utilities menu.

If you have Access 97, you can search http://www.microsoft.com/ for "SQL Upsize Wizard" and you can download and install it.

It's very easy to use and transfers everything, including cascade delete/updates. However, it DOES NOT import queries, forms, or reports, because these do not exist in SQL Server. SQL Server views are similar to Access queries, but they are not exactly the same, and there are differences between Access SQL and SQL Server T-SQL. You will have to rewrite your queries in T-SQL, and you are better off anyway, since it offers features that Access does not.
