We have a maintainance plan for all the databases. It does all the completed backup and Transaction Log backup.we have instructed the maintainance plan to remove files older than 3 days for both completed backups and Transaction log backups.But Files older than 3 days is getting removed in complete backup where as it is not the case in transaction log back up.We have enough disk space also.Please helpSundaresan.R |

Take look at plan's log file to find out why it didn't delete old log backup files. |

Thanks rmaio. I checked the log and found that some databases were in simple recovery mode. I changed it to Full recovery mode. Now Transactional log backups in database maintainance plan works well.Sundaresan.R |
