| HiI am using COLUMNS_UPDATED() function in a trigger on a table.The Table has 85 columns. I want to check the user is updating any column in the table. I am getting Arthemetic Over flow error in this function.I am using bigint to hold the variable.Can any one help on this.ThanksSuresh Velagasuresh.velaga@aditech.com |

| columns_updated() returns a varbinary bit pattern that indicates which columns in the table were inserted or updated. i don't believe you can store that in a bigint. you should use some other datatype or process the directly in you statement and not store in a variable.
