| SQL Server 2000. refreshing Production Database to Backup Database on the same Instance. Backup and restore or DTS????? if using backup and restore, does it matter if both have the same logical names for the data and log files? |

| i'll backup/restore. doesn't matter if same logical filename, but i like to change 'em anyway, to keep to a naming convention |

| Thanks!!!!!!!!!! so as long as the DB names and the physical filenames are different, it doesn't matter if the logical names are the same? |
