Is osql/isql supported in SQL 2005? How about in 2008? Thanks

no. osql/isql has been replaced by a tool called sqlcmd. check BOL for details.

osql.exe shipped with 2005 but it's deprecated.

sqlcmd is very cool, you should check it out. it saves my developer life every day.
