Are you sure you've set report language properties to English (UK). Also is your server having SSRS with SP2? i've heard there's a known issue with SP2 which cause dates to appear in US format reagrdless of language settings. Can you check if its working fine in report manager?see this for more details:-http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=271099 |

Hi, The SQL Server hosting the reports (my localhost) is set to British English and our production database server is set to English. I cannot change this until early tomorrow before the users arrive and I'll have to change it back afterwards - so it's purely to establish if that's the problem. However can you direct me to where I access the report language properties? Is this different to the above? I've read the article and I'm hoping this isn't the case - we don't have sharepoint - as otherwise this is going to be a tricky one. SQL 2008 is not an option for us.Thanks for your help so far.Lee. |

You can open report in visual studio and take report properties. It includes a property called as Report Langauge. Set it to English (UK) if not.The problem specified in link above also happens in Report viewers. We had experienced this ourselves. Its basically the web part of reporting services which causes this. They've asked to apply a hotfix to rectify this. |

I found the property (difficult to find as it doesn't appear in the property toolbar, just the property pane) and it was set to US format. I changed it to UK, saved and deployed, but the situation is the same. The good news is that I was unaware of this language setting - so thanks for that. But I fear it may be the hotfix that I need. Thanks again,Lee |

Try redeploying couple of times and checking it in server before being sure that its the problem in link. Qute often if we're making very small changes and deploying it will not get reflected in server easily. We might have try it couple of times. |

That's a good point. I've noticed things not being picked up too.I deleted the report and redeployed. As before, I have UK when served by ReportServer and US when served using the direct URL. |

Can you please tell me how to go about requesting this hotfix? We are only using the 2005 Developer edition and are about to purchase 2005 Enterprise. I guess it would be a good time to get this sorted upon purchase. Thanks |

It would appear that there is no Hotfix (or at least a KB number). Did you get a hotfix for 2005 or 2008, or are you still waiting? Thanks again. |
