Hi,

I want to store, mathematical formulas, in SQL, now how can i store integration signs, fractions, and various types of other symbols.

The output must be on html page using ASP. and also on VB frontend.

Pls. assist.

If the output is to be just the presentation of the formula, it might make sense to store them as small images.

there's also MathML, but it appears broswer support is limited (unless you download a plugin)

SQLServer can, only store ascii values, in its text and varchar columns so, it is up to your, user-interface to display, the, forumulas, properly.

If you want to just display images , you could create the images and create a pointer within the db?

of course, real mathemiticians use LaTeX. maybe you can find browser plugins for that too, dunno.
