I am trying to index a table. Please advise putting single index on multiple columns is good or indexing each most utilised column is good. Can anybody please send a good article on compound indices verses indexing each column. Thanks |

For speed, covering indexes are best but they also are the slowest to maintain when doing INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. E 12°55'05.25"N 56°04'39.16" |
