Hello All,

We're looking into getting SQL Server 2005 Standard for our eCommerce Platform. CDW said that we needed to purchase the SQL Processor Pricing ($5,999) as opposed to SQl Server Plus CAL ($1,849 with 5 CALs). We're under the impression that only 5 people (customers) can connect to the database at a time. I thought that only one CAL was needed which the store used to access the database regardless of the number of connections using the database (or customers perusing the site). Could someone shed some light on this? The last thing we want to go is drop $6000 on something that should have cost $1800. THANKS!

You will need to use processor licensing.
