Hi All,

My question is :

Why we are using udf inside stored procedures ?
Will it make any performance faster for the stored procedure to execute ?

awaiting your reply.

Thanks
Renjith

It depends upon what type of UDF it is? How it is coded? What is the underlying data set on which it operates?

UDF's are usually created to encapsulate a set of business logic that needs to be repeated throughout an applicaton, and be used in the context of a set based operation

So with that said, you really have to give us a little (read alot) more information.
