| i tried downloading sql server 2005 on my new laptop compaq c772tu..(windows xp) but after finishing installation i cant open it..before sql i downloaded visual studio 2008 ..does it make any difference..i already download sql 2 times and uninstall it twice ..dont know what to do.. |

| when i open start menu in submenu of aql server 2005 it shows sql server configuaration tools,notofication service but doesnt show sql server management studio express.. |

| i ask to one engineer and he is saying that becoz visual studio 2008 is installed we cnt doenload sql 2005 ..he is saying un install vs2008 and download vs 2005 ..dont u think its rubbish? |
