I know that primary key is a unique key .I read somewhere that a table can have both primary key and unique key at a time .Am I Right?Pl give clarification as asap.

Yup. A table can have a primary key and a unique key.

The difference between Unique Key and Primary Key is that Primary Key cannot take NULL value, but Unique Key can have a NULL value.
