Sorry to bring up a subject that has already been discussed to death...

Tried to see what past discussions here at SQLTeam have concluded but didn't quite know what to search for to find those threads.

My view is that it obviously wouldn't do any harm. But the question is, is it worth the hasttle? How many of you have bothered? Is the performance gain noticeable/measurable? I just get the feeling that there will always be other areas where my time will be better spent to gain bigger performance improvements.

I never use it...but it doesn't hurt. I always follow the other tips in the article though...
