Hi all,

I am planning to restore of a SQL 2000 Database on another server
can you folks tip me in the right direction with the SQL script to be used.

any help much appreciated

Check restore command in Books online. Use MOVE option.

Simply copy your backup file to the other server and restore, either via script or using enterprise manager, taking into consideration sodeep's suggestion.

Use 'with replace' option if target db name is different from source one.
