Hello,
just finished training in SQL programming language. I have Enterprise Manager at work. However I do not have the software at home. We were told by the instructor that Microsoft allows the download of the software and the personal use. Can anyone point me to the right place where I can access and download SQL for use practice at home?

thanks

Ted

You can purchase the Developer Edition of SQL Server for 49 bucks I believe. If you want a free version, you could use MSDE 2000 or SQL Express 2005. I'd recommend Developer Edition though if you plan on developing in SQL Server. It used to cost 500 bucks but a couple of years back, MS slashed the price.

No I want to download it for free. As I told you I am new on this and not sure how much involved I will get. I am not a programmer by profession but I really would have liked to be.
Anyhow thanks

Do you mean Northwind? You can get Northwind and Adventureworks Sample database from Microsoft Website.
