Running sql server 2000 sp4 on an 8 year old Server and a shaky SAN. We have had 3 major outages (corrupted databases) and they are finally biting the bullet and ordering a new Server. The new server will not be in place for about 9 days so until then... limping along with what we have. Is there any way to have SQL Server send an email alert when a specific error occurrs and is logged in the SQL log? These are the two errors that I want to alert on.. "Error: 823, Severity: 24, State: 2"or "I/O error (bad page ID) detected during read at offset"is this possible? |
