All of a sudden I cannot access my ACT! database. When I try to log on, I get the error message "failed to open a connection to the database". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SQL Server as discussed in ACT! knowledge database, but still cannot. Any help out there?

Can you connect to it from Management Studio or Query Analyzer (depending on the version of SQL Server)?

I'm very surprised that the knowledge base would say to reinstall SQL Server to fix connectivity issues. That is absurd.
