| Dear Expert Tara,Thank you very much for the reply, and i'm planning to upgrade my production server as well as replication server to 2005 from 2000.then1)what will happen to the present running jobs & schedules?2)what about all the objects...shall i do anything to them to upgrade or sql server automatically take care?3) as the server is production server, they dont want the downtime should be more. what steps can i do to upgrade....like go to services, there stopping the sql server, agent first.then take the sql server cd into tray and start upgradation, after finishing the upgradation, restart the services. is that enough?4)if so, which server first i need to do? replication server or production server?(transactional replication is there)5)after upgradation done on both the servers, shall i reconfigure the replication? or automatically sql server 2005 will take care?sorry for the home wrok like question, but as i'm very new to production environment, please understand my pressure and help me....thank you very muchArnavEven you learn 1%, Learn it with 100% confidence. |
