hello all,
I Have configured log shipping on production databases on Sql server 2000 but due to the full recovery mode of the databases the log file is taking too much of the free space . should i shrink them or they will cause an erro in log shipping.

thank u

How recently do you backup log in Primary server? You should backup log frequently so log growth is controlled. Yes you can shrink the log file but donot manually backup log with truncate_only option as it will break log chain .
