replicated table is not updated

Dear All,
i've made repliaction stup using the information guide below. all the things are done axactly. now i've inserted a row in the publisher. but i'm not getting the record at the subscriber database. please let me know where i'm missing

Have you re-run your snapshot agent and distribution agent?

Open your replication monitor and re-run the agent from there. As I currently do not have itr set up on my machine, I am working in the dark, but have you tried looking at the link I gave you earlier?

yes...that became like a bible for me.but as i'm very starting guy in replication concepts, i'm unable to pic the correct link

Looks like you haven't setup correctly. Is your snapshot agent and Log reader agent Running?

Ok, on the replication monitor, right click on the publication and starting the agent is one of the options (I think). If you want to see what the agent is doing, I thik it is the end (?) tab on the right hand screen in replication monitor. Here you will get the status and any errors.

Best Way is go to Publishers- Right click - Check Snapshot and Log reader Agent. If there is error ,it will show exactly.

sql server agent is not running i think...
i've checked the services but it is running. i think i'm wrongly congigured
