Hello all,
I am really thankfull to you people for helping everyone through this platform.

Please tell me that when a transaction is written to the tranaction log what is actually written in the transaction log.

It contains information about transactions and data modification.It supports recovery of transaction .

Thanks to u people ......let us say i fired a qry

Delete from table_name .....then wat is actually written onto the transaction log,whether it is page_id anything else.

In fact, you can take look at log with 'dbcc log'. Even results may not make any sense to you.
