I have wasted my time in college and have taught computers for 9 years. I have thrown myself into the world of Flash and Dreamweaver that I am feeling that I need to teach my kids more. I am very new to SQL, as in I know nothing, and I want to learn it as quick as possible so I might have a chance to introduce it to my district for a possible insert to my class.

My question is that I have signed up for Total Training sessions for SQL but my fustration is practical experience. Is there any links to video tutorials or ways that I can get some good hands on experience so I can get a handle to point me in the right direction.

After reading this I know I sound naive to think I will understand in a month and I mean no disrespect that it is easy to learn I just mean that I want to get a start and work to learn.

Thank you

As magikminox said , actually downloading , installing and writing your own sql is a very productive way of learning sql. Once you've got the basics mastered, you could look to do some projects ,
