the R is for relational. pretty much every DBMS out there today is a RDMBS. I don't know of any that aren't actually. maybe someone else does. elsasoft.org |

every DBMS needn't be RDBMS. Hyperion essbase is a DBMS,, an MDBMS.. multi dimensional DBMS. |
