Hi Gurus!!I have migrate all databases on to new server.under migration i have migrate all databases, logins, DTS. Now i have to move all existing enabled scheduled jobs on to new server. So is there any way by which i can migrate all the existing jobs with same scheduled time,name,steps ???Please advice.RegardsChander |

Use Transfer Job task in DTS package.Use local DB as connection so when they get migrated, catch the new connections. |

Or backup msdb and restore it on to new server. |

If you do the restore option, simply change the originating_server field on sysjobs to reflect the new server name and you'll be good to go.Terry |
