Can somebody please tell me which SQL 2000 server roles allow a user to create and schedule jobs? Is it only the SYSADMIN role, or are there other roles as well?

Thanks!
Dustin

In SQL 2000, You need to have Sysadmin role to create and modify jobs? For only viewing job you can use Targetserverrole in MSDB system database.

No, you don't need sysadmin rights to create job.
