Hi everyone -

I need to generate a database script of a database that is already created.

I know i can perform the operation through EM and server management studio...

but i need to be able to perform this opeation from an OSQL operation.

sql server 2k8

Most of what EM does can be seen via Profiler. Set up your Profiler session and then capture the steps that EM is performing.

I wrote a cmd line app (open source) to generate scripts, perhaps that may be of use to you: http://www.codeplex.com/scriptdb

Is this still the best free tool around to script an existing database structure with everything in it? (Full Text Indexes, Users, Foreign Keys, Sprocs...)
