well, shorting speaking.
In my ODBC configuration,the database is pointed to "A".
But when I insert rows as "insert into A ....".
I get an error.


My boss said it should be "insert into B...".

B is the underlying database of A.

I never heard this concept before. I need anybody to clarity it.

Your boss is wrong or you misinterpreted what he/she was saying.

What error are you getting?
