im working with SAP and i want to display a column when the checkbox is selected..

is there a function that can help me select rows for a column only when a checkbox is selected?

SQL Server has no idea when you check anything. It has no knowledge of the application, so whatever you want SQL Server to know about, you must tell it explicitly.

I don't know anything about SAP, so could you show us exactly what you want to happen.

The function that you specify here needs to be handled at your front end application. And the value of checkbox state can be passed on and saved to sql.
