Hi,

I had a report server crash this morning. It finally came up after multiple power on/off attempts. I stopped the Reporting Services, detached the databases, copied to a safe location and then reattached. The server is back in production.

I setup a new server (different name) and attached the copied databases from above. SRS works fine ... Except that the credentials for the shared data sources seem to have been lost.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Terry

Add them back in via Report Manager.

I did. I read all the MSDN articles about moving, migrating and restoring a SRS server and they didn't mention the data sources so I was just wondering if it were normal to loose them.

Thanks,
Terry

I don't think it's normal to lose them as that information is stored in the database and not on the Report Server.
