Dear All,
how can we know the exact size of the database?
by using sp_helpdb, my database is showing 83 gb, but the backup of the database is 19 gb.

sp_space used is the correct one to get the exact database size? or there is any other best way?

This script will show you the size of the database files in the database with used and unused space, and show a detailed breakdown of the size of each table in the database.

Backup of database will be always less than original db size.
You can use sp_databases for it as well.
