| Hello everyoneI am trying to log on to my testing laptop with 2005 dev edition on a vista premium OS. I can logon using windows, but when i set up a user with a password I keep getting error code 18452. I have installed the instance with mixed authentication. Is there something else i could be doing wrong?Can someone help pleaseKind regardsRobMCTS certified |

| Check server properties -Security -enable both SQL authen and Windows authentication. |
