| Hi all,i am using sql server 2005.i am using sp_sendmail for sending mail. but problem is antivirus is blocking port 25 . Is it possible to use other port for sending mail as client does not want to open port25 . Any better solution Please suggestThank you. |

| Have you created a Database mail account in the SSMS under to Management folder, as you can change the port used when you edit the database mail profile |

| i changed that port to 2525 but it failed to send the mail and getting this errorThe mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 3 (2008-09-30T15:09:48). Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 212.0.16.135:2525). |
