Do you mean write permission in table or database,sp,functions, views? Can you elaborate clearly?

I setup a new user in the db and need to make sure it has write permissions but am unsure which permissions or where to add them.

I am sorry for the lack of details.

I don't see that under security\login

I only have options like
buladmin
dbcreator
diskadmin
processadmin
public
securityadmin
serveradmin
setupadmin and sysadmin

I dont see an area that has Db_datawriter
