| Dear All,i'm trying to access the server with alias name. my server is xns016 and i've named that as myserver.while querying from the server, it is accepting and i'm able to connect through query analyzer(2000).but while i'm trying to connect through the client machines, it is saying that can not find the server. all the client machines are running applications and there is no sql server installed on those.with IPaddress, all the application are running fine. but with the alias name not. i'm sure i'm missing at some where. can someone help me in this pleaseArnavEven you learn 1%, Learn it with 100% confidence. |
