| Hi,how i can deny and stop network administrator from accessing my databases in SQL 2005, before in SQL 2000 there was option for SQL authentication but now no choices mixed mode or windows.I can managed by adding his windows login in the security and deny him from accessing the databses but, any new user in the domain can access the sql server also can open the data bases.so how i can have a solid solution. |

If I removed the builtin\administrators group this will prvent any windows user who has access to the SQL Server from opening the database.or accessing the SQL management studio ? |

| the builtin\administrators group (be default at least) means that anyone with admin rights on the server itself has sysadmin rights on your sql server. if you remove it you then need to give individual windows users the rights they actually needEm |
