| Hi,I have a set of Stored Procedures runing which Selects Data and inserts/Updates into Tables which are on a Linked Server. They are Taking very long time to run. When I changed the Stored Procedure to insert/update on a Different Database on the Same Instance, the SP's are quick. Is there are any problem in using Stored Procedures on Linked Servers and How do I overcome this? Please help.My DB Server is SQL 2005.ThanksMounikakala |

| The same SP is working fine on the Same Instance, even I saw through Profiler not too much of complexity exists. Its Inserting and Updating the Data. The Issue is that on the Linked Server it is taking almost 3 times the time. So wanted to know if there any issues in SQL 2005 when running SP's on Linked Servers.ThanksMouni |
