Hi,For Example:I have a full backup from yesterday night, differential backup from today morning and transactional backup files for every 5 minutes. My question is if database crashes in the morning at 11 AM, I have to apply last full backup then last differential backup and then all transaction backup files taken after differential backup happened. Please advise if this is correct or not.I am trying to gather this information just in case if I need, so I can act quickly. Do I need to take any other steps after recovering the database. Thanks |

Yes, Full Restore with NORecovery, last Differential with NORECOVERY,all T-Log except last one with NORECOVERY and last T-log with Recovery and you can use STOPAT option(specifying time) as well. |
